Riodine is an antiseptic solution based on Povidone-Iodine and can be used for the first aid treatment in various cases:

It is also effective against school sores, tinea and ringworm.
Povidone Iodine tincture works as a disinfectant and therefore rapidly kills all bacteria and fungi commonly responsible for wound and skin infections. It is essentially non-irritating to skin and will not permanently stain skin and natural fabrics
